FIRST AUSTRAIANS CHAMBER OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY (FACCI)

FACCI is a peak body and voice for the state/territory chambers of commerce that upholds the national policy requirements for being identified as a First Nations business owner or entrepreneur. Its policy defines a robust, respectful and consistent process for certifying an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander-owned businesses, supporting the integrity of the sector.

The FACCI Policy on defining an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander business is aligned with global best practice for the recognition of Indigenous persons.

SUPPLY NATION

Supply Nation links thousands of Indigenous businesses to Australia’s largest organisations, government procurement arms and not-forprofits.

Under the Federal Govermnent’s Indigenous Procurement Policy, Indigenous procurement targets are set out to drive Indigenous economic development and grow Indigenous business.

Supply Nation facilitates the procurement connection by listing Indigenous businesses according to their service capabilities.

NEW SOUTH WALES INDIGENOUS CHAMBER OF COMMERCE

The NSW Indigenous Chamber of Commerce (NSWICC) is the peak body for Aboriginal business in the state.

A business or enterprise carring the NSWICC Assured logo has met national policy requirements as upheld by FACCI for being identified as a First Nations business owner or entrepreneur. State/territory chambers of commerce follow FACCI’s policy on certifying or confirming a person or business as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander.
